As user safety and fraud protection is treated very seriously, your data will need to be verified. Once the verification process is completed you will be able to integrate Payfor.it into your site, and start accepting payments.

Payfor.it does not charge any money for the account setup and maintenance. There are only two situations in which a small commission will be charged:
  • while withdrawing funds from your Payfor.it account, whether you are an individual or business user;
  • while accepting online payments using the Payfor.it widget, when you are a business user.
No hidden fees, no tricks - plain and simple.
In order to start accepting payments through Payfor.it you will need to use a payment widget. You will be able to implement it in the following ways:
  • you can generate it directly from your profile and insert it into the code of your site;
  • you can download detailed tutorials on how to prepare your own widget code and then integrate it with your site.
Once its code is integrated into your website, the payment will be a seamless 2-click process. If you have more questions about integration don’t hesitate to contact us.

This depends on how you wish to use it. If you would like to integrate it in such a way that it unlocks some paid content, then yes - you will need to have certain programming knowledge to make it work with your website’s code.

If, on the other hand, you would just like it to accept donations, then the process is pretty straightforward. You only need to inject the provided piece of code into your website and you are ready to go.

The system uses advanced security measures to make sure your money is safe. The connection is encrypted using the SSL protocol. Transactions bigger than $2 are PIN-protected.

Also your personal data isn’t disclosed to anyone outside of the system - you are known only by your Payfor.it account number, so you stay anonymous at all times. Within the system itself your identifier will be your e-mail - this way the recipient will immediately know who has sent them the money.

Payfor.it was designed with two primary goals in mind
  • to enable its users to make online payments on sites that offer paid content (articles, videos, music), digital goods as well as in online stores.
  • enabling people to donate money to sites or products they particularly like.
The plans for the near future the system will also include social micro-donations, social gifting as well as recurring payments.
